77% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 3% Mourvedre. The Faravels own 9 hectares of old (55 years average) vines in Gigondas, the vast majority of which lie high (350 metres altitude) in the Dentelles de Montmirail. 30% of the bunches were destemmed and the wine was aged 65% in oak foudres and 35% in cement eggs. Rich and ripe with fine depth and concentration, carefully extracted tannins and a long finish.
